I'm not sure what's being asked, but things can get really big if you start using Knuth's up-arrow notation.

No, $(9^9)^9=9^{81}$ . A bigger number is $9^{(9^9)}=9^{387420489}$ .

Ah yes, you are right...but this depends on how $9^{9^{9}}$ is interpreted...
