Lol, This is a 9th class NCERT level question.
Since we have to give the answer in joules , we should first convert the velocity into SI Unit. 36km/h = 10m/s
54km/h = 15m/s
Using Work Energy Theorem
Work Done = Change in Kinetic Energy
= 2 1 × m × Δ v 2
= 2 1 × 5 0 × ( 1 5 2 − 1 0 2 )
= 2 5 × 1 2 5
= 3 1 2 5 J
