A cord of cut wood

A cord is a volume of cut wood equal to a stack 8 ft 8 \text{ ft} long, 4 ft 4 \text{ ft} wide, and 4 ft 4 \text{ ft} high. Approximately how many cords are in 1.0 m 3 ? 1.0 \text{ m}^{3}?

You should convert m into ft first: 1 m 3.3 ft. 1 \text{ m} \approx 3.3 \text{ ft.}

0.3 cord 0.6 cord 6.0 cord 3.0 cord

1 m 3 = ( 3.3 f t ) 3 = 35.937 f t 3 1 \: m^{3} = (3.3 ft)^{3} = 35.937 ft^{3}

1 c o r d = 8 f t × 4 f t × 4 f t = 128 f t 3 1 \: cord = 8 ft \times 4 ft \times 4 ft = 128 ft^{3}

N o . o f c o r d s i n 1 m 3 = 1 m 3 1 c o r d = 1 m 3 128 f t 3 = 35.937 f t 3 128 f t 3 = 0.28075 0.3 N \! o. \; o \! f \; cords \; in \; 1\: m^{3} = \frac { 1 m^{3} } {1 \: cord } = \frac { 1 m^{3} } {128 ft^{3} } = \frac { 35.937 ft^{3} } {128 ft^{3} } = 0.28075 \approx 0.3

I used the same method. But accidentally I've selected 3.0 in spite of selecting 0.3
