Yes, they are. The question should probably be "Which of the following quotients is not a whole number?", with the answer being changed to x 3 \dfrac{x}{3} .

@Andrew Ellinor I'm guessing that it is beyond my purview to change both the intent of the question and the answer, so I won't do so for now. Is it o.k. in general, though, for me to change MCQ answer options as well as the correct option, or does that mess up the report resolution/points restoration process later on?

Thanks for asking, Brian. Your intuition about messing up the report resolution/points restoration process is right. For problems where the content is actually incorrect thus causing the given answer to be wrong, filing a report is best. In instances where there are some clarifications that need to be added (such as drawn without replacement, or some expression is to be maximized over positive integers rather than all integers, etc.), that's where you can step in. Tidying up a problem like that as well as for grammar/spelling/LaTeX protects it from future reports even if the problem statement is mostly well-formed.
