The word is DETERMINANT, and the middle letter is M. Hope this helps!

It was a fun expression of competitiveness. It, if elaborated, would mean - That you have published your comment onto this magnificent website, prior to my arrival and solving and posting of my own comment, which I have been doing since I started solving questions today. In more detail, it would mean that my desire to comment in all these 'Anagram' questions has been snubbed as you have posted your comment before me, and if I did post a comment, it would be redundant and would just go in vain.
