It's simple...first u have considers the multiples of 2(2,4,6)till third one then u considered about 3(3,6,9)also till third one then u considered multiple of 4 so logically u have to consider this also till 3rd multiple therefore the third multiple is 12.. Hope u will upvote the answer...

as you were the first one to solve the problem i upvoted you

The 1st three numbers, 2, 4, 6 are consecutive natural multiple of 2.The next three are consecutive natural multiple of 3.The last three should be the consecutive natural multiple of 4

Therefore the missing must be 12 as it is the 3rd multiple of 4

how you can say that it must be a multiple of 4 ???? it may also be 5 no [because the set of natural numbers {2,3,5,7,11 . . . . . . . . }] post a proof that 4 must only come

Since 2, 3, 4 are consecutive numbers. So that the last three numbers must be the multiple of 4.A solution to a problem can be approached in different ways
