2013 + 2014 + 2015 2013+2014+2015 = ( 2014 1 ) + 2014 + ( 2014 + 1 ) =(2014-1)+2014+(2014+1) = 2014 1 + 2014 + 2014 + 1 =2014-1+2014+2014+1 = 2014 + 2014 + 2014 1 + 1 =2014+2014+2014-1+1 = 3 × 2014 =3\times 2014 = 6042 . =\boxed{6042}.

Nice solution. But the problem overall was very easy

sum of numbers = middle number × total numbers

= 2014 × 3 = 6042

GOSH!

2013 2013 = 2 1 0 3 + 0 + 1 10 + 3 2*10^3+0+1*10+3

2013 2013 = 2 1 0 3 + 0 + 1 10 + 3 2*10^3+0+1*10+3

2013 2013 = 2 1 0 3 + 0 + 1 10 + 3 2*10^3+0+1*10+3

Adding them together, 2013 + 2014 + 2015 2013+2014+2015 is equal to 1 0 3 ( 2 + 2 + 2 ) + 1 0 2 ( 0 + 0 + 0 ) + 10 ( 1 + 1 + 1 ) + 1 0 0 ( 3 + 4 + 5 ) 10^3(2+2+2)+10^2(0+0+0)+10(1+1+1)+10^0(3+4+5) , which is, in turn, equal to 6042 \boxed {6042} . : D \LARGE :D

Just add the numbers no tricks 2013 + 2014 = 4027 and 4027 + 2015 = 6042

All I did was express everything in terms of the number 2013. Then, just use a property of distribution, and you're done! :)

2013 + 2014 + 2015 2013+2014+2015

2013 + ( 2013 + 1 ) + 2015 2013+(2013+1)+2015

2013 + ( 2013 + 1 ) + ( 2013 + 2 ) 2013+(2013+1)+(2013+2)

2013 + 2013 + 2013 + 1 + 2 2013+2013+2013+1+2

3 ( 2013 ) + 1 + 2 3(2013)+1+2

3 ( 2013 ) + 3 3(2013)+3

3 ( 2013 ) + 3 ( 1 ) 3(2013)+3(1)

3 ( 2013 + 1 ) 3(2013+1)

3 ( 2014 ) 3(2014)

2013 + 2014 + 2015 = 3 × 2014 = 6042 \begin{aligned} 2013 + 2014 + 2015 & = 3×2014\\ & = \color{#69047E}{\boxed{6042}} \end{aligned}

In general n + ( n + 1 ) + ( n + 2 ) = 3 n + 3 = 3 ( n + 1 ) n+(n+1)+(n+2)=3n+3=3(n+1) .The question fits this form(which means that 2014 = n + 1 2014=n+1 ) so setting 2014 2014 in the L.H.S of equation,we get 3 ( 2014 ) = 6042 3(2014)=\boxed{6042}

S i m p l e m a t h o d 2013 + 2014 + 2015 = 2014 + 2014 + 2014 = 6042 Simple\quad mathod\\ 2013+2014+2015\\ =2014+2014+2014\\ =6042

In first line (I think) you mean "method" not "mathod".
