At a coffee shop that I visit, each table has 1 leg and each chair has 4 legs. If there are 2 chairs at each table, which is the possible number of (furniture) legs in the coffee shop?

Each table has 1 leg

Each chair has 4 legs and there are 2 chairs thus 2x4 = 8

So total we have 9 legs.

Thus a multiple of 9 would be the answer
