  • Diode voltage drop is 0.7V
  • 120 - 0.7 = 119.3 V
  • Rt = 15 ohm
  • It = 7.953 A
  • Vdrop = 7.953 * 10 = 79.53V
  • Vr = 120 - 0.7 - 79.53 = 39.8V

Brandon, you meant a practical silicon diode, right?
