How come that ( − x ) 2 is wrong ( − x ) 2 = a b s ( − x ) = a b s ( − 1 ) ∗ a b s ( x ) = a b s ( x )

Note that, ∃ x ∣ ( − x ) 2 = ( − x ) 2
And that is the reason the option ( − x ) 2 is incorrect! You can easily observe that x = 5 is a counterexample to that option.

x 2 is designated to be equal to ∣ x ∣ which can be written as a b s ( x )
