Escaping the Maze

Geometry Level 1

If you are trapped in a maze, here is a really clever idea that you can use to escape:

Keep your hand in contact with the wall of the maze, and keep walking along it.

It certainly works for some mazes like this, for example:

But you might not be so lucky, always. For one of the mazes below, no matter where you start and which wall you pick, it works. For the other, this idea might not work for all walls. Which is this unfortunate maze?

Maze :A has four walls that are not connected to an outside wall and thus if you put your hand on those you would be in an endless loop.

Yes, a start and end needs to be specified

So how about if I enter Maze A from the bottom left and keep my left hand on the wall. I escape easily, right?

Yes, but this trick does not always work in this maze. That's all I wanted to point out.

@Agnishom Chattopadhyay what i am actually pointing out on that problem that there is no sum of two digits that is more that 18 and is having a two digit sum, and these digits having the maximum sum is 9 and 9 = 18

Really, all you have to do to improve this is that if you see that you have turned exactly 4 times in the same direction, you should be back at the beginning before you touched the wall, now just pick a different wall until you are lucky that you won't go back in the loop over and over again forever. Also, if there is a a loop as shown in maze A, there will never be a way to even get there if you put your hand on the wall unless it is not an endless loop and then you will walk right past it.

There is no particular entrance. You could start from any point in the maze.
