42 is the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything. (Silly refernce to "The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy") [edited for clarity]

I think that is why the answer is 42.

(For answer, Hit "Toggle Latex")

First of all, wrong solution, that wasn't my idea. Second,no need to hit 'Toggle Latex' ,you just need to hover your mouse pointer around the question.

It was a subtle reference to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"

and the hovering doesn't work for me...

''Hovering doesn't work'' meaning?

@Adarsh Kumar as in I did not notice that blank space that was that contained a number, which I assumed was the answer.

@Yashwanth Manivannan Mind if I asked what the question was?

@Yashwanth Manivannan Just a test of observation!

@Adarsh Kumar So 42 holds no value according to the questioner and is just a random number that struck the questioner's mind?

@Yashwanth Manivannan Yes,this was just meant to be a test for one's observation, nothing else!

@Adarsh Kumar So, on what basis was my solution deemed to be wrong, when there never existed a correct solution or approach in the first place? :P

Doesn't an answer with no explanation require others to fill in what they think is right?

Yashwanth Manivannan - 6 years ago

@Yashwanth Manivannan Actually, the intended solution was to observe!

@Adarsh Kumar Wouldn't that be more of an approach to how the problem must be dealt with than the right answer?

I say that because, many could just sit and observe the question for days without getting anywhere close to the answer while, some might figure it out quickly. The ones who didn't get it, they did follow the "right solution" but never got close to the answer. Sounds like a paradox to me.

(Wait, by doing what I am doing, am I breaking any community guidelines, because I don't want to be an offender here.)

@Yashwanth Manivannan No man,i am not at all offended! We are just learners man!Actually, the thing to observe was that there was some empty space where there could have been text.

@Adarsh Kumar But I still don't think "observe" is a right solution. There was no question that demanded any numbers either, so (omg) there IS no solution D:

@Yashwanth Manivannan Hey man can we end this discussion now?It is taking up a lot of space here!If u want to have a discussion on G+,I am all ears.

Adarsh Kumar - 6 years ago

@Yashwanth Manivannan Oh!k!that is quite alright!

Adarsh Kumar - 6 years ago

and technically there is no solution to your question other than either toggling latex or hovering (to whom ever it works) =D
