Pronic - It means a number which is a product of two consecutive integers.

Primary Pseudoperfect number - It is in the form that sum of the inverse of each prime factor of that number plus the inverse of that number is equal to 1.

Harshad - It is a number which has its sum of digits as a factor of that number.

This surely should be the answer to life, universe and everything which is 42!!!!!;);)

Students giving IMO, this is also your highest total score.....

Where did you learn all this from? :-O

The way the question is currently stated, 2 and 6 are also Pronic, Primary Pseudo perfect and Harshad numbers. The title should not affect the problem. Besides, "funny" is extremely relative, and not a mathematical term.

Thanks Sir for reporting this! I have edited the problem. Now, is this correct? Also, my previous problem named "Predict the Series!!!" just "vanished" some days before. Why so?

Well, Harshad comes from the Sanskrit meaning joy-giver. Not sure if its related. =="

I just made a list: 3 × 4 = 12 4 × 5 = 20 5 × 6 = 30 6 × 7 = 42 7 × 8 = 56 8 × 9 = 72 9 × 10 = 90 \begin{aligned}3\times4=12\\4\times5=20\\5\times6=30\\6\times7=42\\7\times8=56\\8\times9=72\\9\times10=90\end{aligned} Checking each of these you will find that the answer is 42 \boxed{42} .Look for the definitions of pronic,primary pseudoperfect and harshad number on Wikipedia.
