$x^2 = 212x\\ x^2 - 212x = 0\\ x\left(x - 212\right) = 0\\ x = 0 (\text{or}) x = 212$
So, $x = 0$ and $x = 212$ satisfy this equation.
So, the answer is $\color{#69047E}{\boxed{2}}$ .
