Nice solution, even if I am four feet away from my screen, I can read it.

Thanks, this one is still small for me. But this is the largest in Brilliant. I am looking for a way to make it bigger.

Really?? Maybe your screen is as wide as the wall of your house!

@A Former Brilliant Member – Nope. I just want to make it bigger.
2 1 × x − 1 4 = 1 9 × x + 2 4
or, 2 1 × x − 1 9 × x = 2 4 + 1 4
or, 2 × x =38
or, x = 2 3 8
or, x=19
2 1 x − 1 4 = 1 9 x + 2 4
⇒ 2 1 x − 1 9 x = 2 4 + 1 4
⇒ 2 x = 3 8
Therefore x = 1 9
2 1 x − 1 4 = 1 9 x + 2 4 2 1 x − 1 4 + 1 4 = 1 9 x + 2 4 + 1 4 2 1 x = 1 9 x + 3 8 2 1 x − 1 9 x = 1 9 x + 3 8 − 1 9 x 2 x = 3 8 2 2 x = 2 3 8 x = 1 9
21x-14=19x+24
21x-19x=24+14
2x=38
x=19
You made a mistake. 21x-19x +14=24
21x-19x+14-14=24-14
2x=10
x=5

Subtract 19x from both sides of the equation. We get
2 1 x − 1 9 x − 1 4 = 2 4
Combine like terms. We get
2 x − 1 4 = 2 4
Add 14 to both sides of the equation. We get
2 x = 3 8
Divide both sides by 2. We get
x = 1 9
