Yes, but what's the reaction condition for the EAS to take place? Meaning why doesn't the reaction stop at the alkene? Sorry if I'm bad at this.

@Nishanth Subramanian For formation of alkene carbonation will form na, that will lead to EAS as ring formation is favoured.
