substitude a+b in 2a+3b=4 by re writing the expression as a+b+a+b+b=4. This results in 6+b=4. b=-2.Now, replace b with -2 in the first equation. a+-2 = 3. a=5. a+b-2+a-6. Or, 5 - 2 - 2+5 - 6.
