Suppose you have a room of length 6 m and breadth 5 m. You want to cover the floor of the room with square mosaic tiles of side 30 cm. How many tiles will you need?

FOR BEST SOLUTION , Do Not Ignore

@Razing Thunder ,how could it exceeds the total.area

Area of rectangle=600*500=300000

Area of 340 squares=340 *30 *30= 306000

Is,there any justification which i am missing here.

30 is in cm not in metre

Yes,i know that and that's why i have converted 6m and 5m in cm.

@Razing Thunder I think you are a bit confused,1 m^2 can have 100 cm^2 small tiles,the area must be equal.
