Simplicity at its Best! [Part I]

Algebra Level 2

Just a small problem given by Alphys:

What do you get when you divide 50 by 1 2 and then add the result with e i π ? \text{What do you get when you divide 50 by }\Large\frac{1}{2}\normalsize\text{ and then add the result with }\large e^{iπ}?

First, let's divide 50 50 by 1 2 \Large\frac{1}{2}

50 ÷ 1 2 \Large50 ÷ \frac{1}{2}

= 50 1 ÷ 1 2 \Large = \frac{50}{1} ÷ \frac{1}{2}

Gaining the reciprocal of the second fraction, and then converting division to multiplication...

50 1 × 2 1 \Large\frac{50}{1} × \frac{2}{1}

= 50 × 2 = 50 × 2

= 100 = 100

Then, to add with e i π \large e^{iπ} ...

100 + e i π \large100 + e^{iπ}

= 100 + ( 1 ) = 100 + (-1)

= 100 1 = 100 - 1

= 99 = \boxed{99}

heh... i said you that it was easy...

I swear to gods Dreemurr, if your latest question's answer about Asgoat is Undertale fact-related, I will send Mrs. O'Leary after you 😑...

@Frisk Dreemurr I am resorting to murder you in cold-blood, don't worry, none of the eternally painful torture :)

@A Former Brilliant Member Hmmm, that would be a great addition to my list...

So far, I have defeated a person who called himself god ,

defeated a monster who absorbed six human souls and all the souls of monsters in the Underground ,

defeated a person who has knowledge between spactime ,

and defeated a person who can (and has countless times) cheat death

I would love to add Greek Demigod of the Sea to the list as well, so when do you plan to do the manoeuvre? (I dislike defeating Maui cuz' he is childish and worthless to brag about, so no thanks...)

@Frisk Dreemurr That's a cute list. I'm sure you know all I've done. So let me compare our strengths and powers, as I've already won the 'achievements' round -

Percy - Too many powers and abilities to list, so here's a link to the fandom webpage where his powers are listed below - percy is the best

Frisk - Determination, can save her game and play the game again and again...

Seriously? I have enough willpower in me to lift the sky, and a pixel-faced bish thinks she can beat me with determination?

I guess that's 2 points for me.

@A Former Brilliant Member Welp, you see here, when you are stuck in a seemingly impossible level in a game, what do you do?

You play the level again, and again, and again, and again

And most likely you'd lose repeatedly, but you won't give up, cuz you have DETERMINATION

Until you find some weak point, something that makes the level easy, and makes the mechanics that make it hard snap, then it is worth it, as we have now successfully beat the level, and won it

So no matter what you say, no power is stronger than two, able to gain strength via hurting another thorough words or actions, and able to RESET and retry to defeat a seemingly impossible enemy

P.S. I know you aren't like Undyne, so you can't cheat death, but do you have musical skills? I hope not. I don't want you to be able to wax your Uncle Hades into escaping the Underworld like how Orpheus did to save Eurydice

@Frisk Dreemurr Isn't that what Percy does his whole life? Fighting monsters so his friends, family and the whole world live to see another day?
