It is given that Amy, Bernadette and Penny are good friends of Sheldon and Leonard.

Being a friend of someone who is a good friend to another person doesn't mean the first person is a friend of the third person.

I'm with Vishal here. It appeared to me that the question refered to the last statment as a hole, i.e, if it is possible or not to conclude such affirmative from the previous two premises.

In fact, it is not. The last sentence, including the "Therefore, " and as a step of logical reasoning, is incorrect. False.

if i answer it false, where is the problem??

In my opinion the answer should be false, because you used "Therefore" in the last sentence! Since the premises do not lead to the conclusion, the use of "Therefore" implies that the whole sentence is false!

the answer must be " insufficient information " because of the statements don't tell us that "leslie is the friend of sheldon" is true or false and the statements also don't tell us that " leslie is not the friend of sheldon " are true or false

So, the answer must be false. Why is it data insufficient?

But I think we are talking about the l a s t last s t a t e m e n t statement only. Whether it is true Or false. So how can the answer be insufficient information.(sorry for any inconvenience)

@Vishal Yadav It isn't false, because she could still be a friend. Leslie being a friend of Leonard could mean she is a friend of Sheldon, but we are not 100% sure.

I believe that if the question "True or false?" refers to the whole argument, then the answer should be false because there is no connection among the statements that "Amy, Bernadette, and Penny are good friends of Sheldon and Leonard.", "Leslie is a good friend of Leonard.", and "Leslie is a friend of Sheldon as well." If the question simply refers to the statement "Leslie is a good friend of Sheldon as well.", then the answer that there is insufficient information makes sense because it is possible for the statement to be true or false. However, the whole argument itself cannot be true because the premises do not lead to the conclusion.
