Find the value of white stick?

Note : There are two stick black and white and find the value of White stick.

The mid length of stick is 11 and and white stick is longer than black stick(5cm).

and black stick's mid length is 2.5.

so 11+2.5=13.5cm

so answer is 13.5 cm........!!!!!!!!!!

The question should not as for "value" of a white stick, it should ask for the "length" of white stick. Thank you.

Let $w$ be the length of the white stick and $b$ be the length of the black stick.

$w+b=22$ $\color{#D61F06}(1)$

$w-b=5$ $\color{#D61F06}(2)$

Adding $\color{#D61F06}(1)$ and $\color{#D61F06}(2)$ , we get

$2w=27$

$\boxed{w=13.5}$
