A D B = 45 ° , A C D = 30 ° D A C = 15 ° \angle {ADB}=45\degree,\angle {ACD}=30\degree\implies \angle {DAC}=15\degree

Let B A D = α \angle {BAD}=α

Then

A D B D = sin ( 45 ° + α ) sin α \dfrac {|\overline {AD}|}{|\overline {BD}|}=\dfrac {\sin (45\degree+α)}{\sin α}

A D D C = sin 30 ° sin 15 ° \dfrac {|\overline {AD}|}{|\overline {DC}|}=\dfrac {\sin 30\degree}{\sin 15\degree}

Solving these two we get

( 3 1 ) cos α = ( 3 3 ) sin α (\sqrt 3-1)\cos α=(3-\sqrt 3)\sin α

tan α = 1 3 α = 30 ° \implies \tan α=\dfrac {1}{\sqrt 3}\implies α=\boxed {30\degree} .
