Also, You can type Two types of Ds, A Capital (D) and a Small (d).

How Many Types of Signs can you make with the x-d combination?

We have 2 types of Xs and 2 Types of Ds.

Therefore, By the Rule of Product, $2 \times 2 =4$ x-d Combinations can be formed.

But is this the answer? No!

We have to consider d-x combinations as well

B the same procedure, There are 4 d-x combinations.

Hence, The answer=8

I think you should specify that the laughing face can be rotated in any direction. Otherwise the problem is unclear.
