@Rishabh Tripathi This is trollington places where the trollers live . This name is just an anagram of JACK ; JILL ; and TROLLER Observe the pattern first two letter of Jack then First two letter of Troller …………… 😁😂😂😁

Rishabh Tripathi - 6 years, 2 months ago

@A Former Brilliant Member May be if you post a solution then I can check whether it is correct or not. The first part is maybe 4 10 4^{10} .in 2nd part------>Total ways-(all getting wet)

Using PIE.

@Gautam Sharma Well I don't thinl pie and all should be used.yep first part is correct .I am out of station and in the mobile I am not able to post solution. But try to first find all the number of ways in which all of them get wet then subtract it from total n.o of ways.

A Former Brilliant Member - 6 years, 2 months ago

@A Former Brilliant Member "But try to first find all the number of ways in which all of them get wet then subtract it from total n.o of ways." is called PIE itself .Principle of inclusion and exclusion. Her we excluded all wet case from total .

And i also said that in my comment above "in 2nd part------>Total ways-(all getting wet)" this is PIE

@A Former Brilliant Member Also instead of giving d=4 you can say that d is a square of a prime .Hence increasing difficulty of the question.
