answer: a

Because Mr. Sanchez spends many hours during the weekend working in his vegetable garden, it is reasonable to suggest that he enjoys this work. There is no information to suggest that he does not like classical music. Although Mrs. Sanchez likes to cook, there is nothing that indicates she cooks vegetables. Mrs. Sanchez likes to read, but there is no information regarding the types of books she reads.

There are many reasons one might spend many hour in their garden during the weekend. Couldn't Mr. Sanchez sell his vegetables for some extra income?

Yes, planting, growing and then selling vegetables may be the easiest and least disagreeable way for Mr. Sanchez to earn some extra income, but that doesn't necessarily mean he enjoys the planting and growing part. I think the more appropriate question might be: "Which of the following statements is most likely to be true?" This would generate some interesting debate, delving into the life and times of Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez, but wouldn't be a true logic question. :)

This is exactly the concern I am having.

@Michael Huang I think that the only way to make this a rigorous logic question is to change the wording to "Mr. Sanchez enjoys spending many hours working in his vegetable and flower garden." This makes for a less interesting question but at least it removes any ambiguity.

@Brian Charlesworth Even then, he could just be doing it for work, as a farmer, for food or many more. You can still do something but not enjoy it
