Why is this a biology question?

Biology Level 2

If 50+30=70, find the value of 60+40

Note: This question (though really lame), has a logic behind it.
80 90 110 50 20 70 10 100

Now as the title of the question prompts you to think about the connection of this question to biology, I'm sure that a large fraction of those of you who have done biology would have arrived at the answer. Yes. These numbers represent the Svedberg units associated with 70 S 70S and 80 S 80S ribosomes respectively.

70 S 70S has 50 S 50S and 30 S 30S subunits and 80 S 80S has 60 S 60S and 40 S 40S subunits.

Krishna seriously i felt this question as a waste of time...bcoz I don't about biology...but since u had noted it as a logic problem I tried....and by logic not many but options given are correct and this is a contradiction..so pls don't post such sums..

\bullet 1. If you don't like biology , I'm sorry, there are 1000's of others who like it.

\bullet 2. It is my freewill to post problems. I can't help it if some person in some nook and corner of the world has an issue with it

\bullet 3. This problem is unrated and is under biology and not under "logic" or "math". I just said it has a logic behind it.

Hope you get it.

@Sarvesh Dubey @sarvesh dubey If you have got some other 'non - biological' logic , please post it as another problem of topic 'Algebra' . This is a biology question and a biological reasoning is expected here. Thanks!

@Sarvesh Dubey How many times should I tell you this is a Biology question and not "Quantitative aptitude/ simple logic" type question?

Krishna Ar - 6 years, 2 months ago

So I kindly req u to change the options...

sarvesh dubey - 6 years, 2 months ago

First you would have seen "the title" of the question, and if you do not like biology then you should not have tried it..... Also this question doesn't decreases your ratings. So please do not make mess here.
